New Create Tool Highlights
Placing Points
When using the create tool, dimensions between two points are now displayed in real time. If you are a developer or an architect, this is a fantastic way for you to design with greater accuracy and detail. You can also choose whether to ignore existing building geometries or interact with them when placing points. This will be especially useful for architect users, as you can now add additions to buildings such as roof extensions.
Moving Walls
You now have the ability to push, pull and slope facades! This is an excellent way for overcoming planning constraints and avoid overshadowing of neighbouring properties. Curve any face when picking walls to soften the impact of the building in the surrounding environment and create intriguing designs.
Building Measurement Calculator (GEA, GIA, NIA)
Gross External Area (GEA), Gross Internal Area (GIA), and Net Internal Area (NIA) calculations are now available in VU.CITY! This will be extremely useful for developers in site and massing appraisals.
New Measurement Tool Highlights
When using the measuring tool to place points, measurement data is now shown and updated based on where the point is placed. This will help you collect precise data on the overall length, area, and Above Ordnance Datum of the measured spot. You can also move points once placed and delete individual points.
