Visual spatial analysis made easy
Introducing 'Viewsheds' in VU.CITY
Viewsheds has been developed to make conducting visual spatial analysis easy in VU.CITY. Viewsheds are a useful technical analysis technique to help represent the visibility or “line of sight” of a person's or camera's view location. This is powerful in our 3D environment as it shows how objects (3D) can affect the calculation and effect on a view in real-time.
What makes Viewsheds special in VU.CITY? In short, Viewsheds is compelling because with VU.CITY, you can run your analysis on a high detailed model that is enriched with a massive consents database. Furthermore you can take the study further by utilising the other tools available to tell a better story about your site. Let's dig into it.
