Residential sales tools
We used our pioneering digital technology to support developments from planning consultation through to sales and marketing at Barratt London’s Blackfriars Circus site. Our interactive tool, VUITNOW, allows users to take a virtual 3D tour of the development before it is built, using the same model base as a consultation tool in the pre-planning stage, and developing the detail further for the sales phase, whether on a touchscreen in the marketing suite or on the move via an iPad app.
Users can search by property price and number of bedrooms, and then see precisely where each property will be on the site, the views from its windows and its internal layout. Virtual tours are embedded in the iPads and touchscreens in the marketing suite. Users can save and compare floorplans of the new homes and email their gallery of screenshots to themselves.
VUITNOW takes data direct from the Barratt London database and updates availability based on this, so everything is always up to date. It also works with Barratt London’s Customer Relationship Management System, feeding data back to the sales team.
At their latest development, Camden Courtyards, we used Google Cardboard headsets at the digital launch event so buyers could experience the development in virtual reality. The headsets featured an animation, which allowed buyers to walk around the development, including footage of the interior and exterior of the building and a walk around an apartment.
