RAM vs VRAM

RAM temporarily stores data that is being used or will likely be used by your computer. VRAM also temporarily stores data that is being used or will likely be used, however it is specific to video rendering tasks (hence ‘V’).

During run time, VU.CITY pre-loads data into your RAM and VRAM to reduce loading time and improve fluidity as you use the app. Therefore the more RAM and VRAM available, the smoother and faster VU.CITY will perform.

Multi Core Performance

VU.CITY is designed in a way that fully utilises multi-threading. That means when choosing between a faster processor, or one with more cores, we recommend choosing the processor with more cores.
