Piccadilly Circus is one of the busiest places in London and was built to connect Regent Street to Piccadilly. It’s a central tourist hub with more than 40 million people using the underground station each year to visit The Criterion Theatre, The Shaftesbury Memorial and London Pavillion, and it’s home to the famous Piccadilly lights where sponsors pay a premium rate for advertising.

About the project

Whilst expanding our London model we upgraded a number of the most popular locations, and Piccadilly Circus boasts something of an iconic status. To help replicate the vibrancy of the area we created it in LOD4, allowing us to add materials to the imagery and make it ready for 3D printing.

This model can now serve a number of purposes, including visualisation, animations, VR, AR, and many more.
